Bad Turmbach is situated among the incredibily pretty rolling hills in the vicinity of Eppan, at an altitude of 500 metres. The area unbelievably rich in Medieval  castles, as well as noble residences built in an aristocratic architectural style called the Überetsch* manner, incorporating Tuscan, Venetian an Tyrolean features. The climate, nature and general atmosphere of Überetsch is redolent more of the Mediterranean than of the Alps.

* Überetsch means "Beyond the Etsch (Adige)" as viewed from Bolzano
